The Georgia necklace is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece in 18kt white gold with a black rhodium finish, set with a morganite. Morganite is the pink variety of beryl, from the same mineral family as emerald and aquamarine, and was named in 1911 after the collector J. P. Morgan. The black rhodium sets the warm pink against a dark metal, instead of framing it in bright white gold as usual. Made in Munich. €5,500, and there is only one in the world.
Soft. Sensual. Full of character.

Frequently asked questions
What is morganite?
The pink variety of the mineral beryl, related to emerald and aquamarine. Its colour comes from manganese and ranges from delicate peach to strong pink. With a Mohs hardness of 7.5 to 8, the stone is suitable for everyday wear.
What does a black rhodium finish mean?
A thin layer of black rhodium is electroplated onto the white gold. The result is a deep, matt black metal instead of bright white.
Does the black layer wear off?
With daily wear and at friction points, yes, over the years. It is a surface finish, not an alloy. The layer can be reapplied; just get in touch.
