This Paperclip bracelet is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece in 18kt gold, set with yellow-brown brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 1.22 ct. In the trade, coloured diamonds like these are called fancy colour diamonds. Their colour comes from nitrogen in the crystal lattice and is graded on a scale of its own, not as a downgrade from white stones. The paperclip shape borrows the link of an office paperclip: elongated oval links instead of round ones. Made in Munich. €4,000, and there is only one.
