This 18kt white gold ring is set with diamonds in colour G and clarity SI, in size 54. Several small stones side by side create a continuous line of light across the finger, while a single stone of the same weight only marks a point. The work lies in the individually set seats, which have to sit at exactly the same height. A deviation of even a tenth of a millimetre shows in raking light. Handmade in Munich. €1,450.

Frequently asked questions
Why several stones instead of one large one?
A row reads as a line, a solitaire as a point. Seen across the finger, the row looks wider and calmer without sitting any higher, which makes it well suited to stacking and as a right-hand ring.
What do colour G and clarity SI mean?
The colour scale runs from D to Z. G sits in the upper range of colourless stones: without a comparison stone, no tint is visible. SI means inclusions are visible under tenfold magnification, but not to the naked eye.
Is the ring available in another size?
It is made in size 54. A limited adjustment is possible, so send me your size before you order and I'll tell you what can be done. Alternatively, I can make the ring again in your size.
