These 18kt white gold hoop earrings carried 12 diamonds totalling 0.75 ct, colour G and clarity SI. Twelve stones at 0.75 ct means roughly 0.06 ct per diamond, large enough for each one to show its own fire instead of disappearing into pavé. Colour G sits in the top group of colourless diamonds. SI means the inclusions are visible only under a loupe. Made in Munich, sold for €2,900.
Diamonds that circle, like time.

Frequently asked questions
Can comparable hoop earrings be made?
Yes. The diameter, number of stones and setting can all be taken up again. The diamonds would be different ones, and I agree carat, colour and clarity with you beforehand.
What do colour G and clarity SI mean?
The colour scale runs from D (completely colourless) to Z. G sits in the upper range: without a comparison stone right beside it, no tint is visible. SI stands for Small Inclusions, meaning inclusions that show under tenfold magnification but not to the naked eye.
Why 12 larger stones instead of many small ones?
From around 0.05 ct per stone, the fire of a diamond becomes visible stone by stone. Below that, the reflections merge into an even glitter. These hoops were deliberately built around individual points of light.
